Hi, I’m Lea — the baker, decorator, and creative behind LeaMommyChef Treats.
Some of my earliest and most cherished memories are in the kitchen with my mom at Christmastime. I remember baking cut-out sugar cookies and decorating them with colorful food coloring glaze, and shredding carrots by hand for our carrot cake. Looking back, it wasn’t just the baking that made those moments so special; it was the time we spent together, creating something with our hands and sharing in the simple joy of being in the kitchen.
That love of cooking and baking has stayed with me throughout my life. I’m lucky enough to still enjoy time in the kitchen with my mother, and now I get to share that same experience with my daughter. For me, the kitchen has always been a place where memories are made, traditions are passed down, and people come together.
My mother and I share a special bond through food, cooking, and hospitality. That bond eventually led us to open and successfully run a Bed & Breakfast together in the Catskills, where we welcomed guests into our home, cooked for them, and created memorable experiences. It felt like a natural extension of what we had always loved doing together.
It’s from this foundation that I created LeaMommyChef — a reflection of who I am at my core: first and foremost, a mom who is 110% committed to her family, but also someone with a deep culinary passion and a genuine love for sharing that passion with others.
With 2 convenient locations in the Riverdale section of the Bronx New York and on the North Fork of Suffolk County, whether your celebration is in NYC, Westchester County, the North Fork of Long Island or the Hamptons I will take that same passion to inspire the treats I create for you.
I love taking an idea, a theme, or a special occasion and turning it into something beautiful, personal, and delicious. Whether it’s custom cookies for a birthday, decorated treats for a celebration, or something thoughtful to share with the people you love, I put care into every detail.
